Meet Sour Straps! Sour Straps is a sweet and resilient puppy who is ready to leave his difficult past behind and find a loving forever home. He was rescued alongside his 10 littermates and more than 15 adult dogs from a situation of neglect, and since then has been learning what it means to feel safe, cared for, and part of a family.

Now that he’s settling into a home environment, Sour Straps is showing everyone just how special he is. He’s a happy, playful pup who loves chasing a ball, running around the backyard, and proudly carrying around sticks. He also has a softer side and enjoys cuddling up for belly rubs, happily flopping down beside you after playtime.

Sour Straps is still very much a puppy and is learning the basics of the world around him. He’s doing well with his potty training, is comfortable in his crate, and is beginning to build confidence, even learning to settle and nap on his own. Like most puppies, he has his playful, mischievous moments and enjoys chewing, so he’ll benefit from continued guidance, structure, and plenty of appropriate toys. As a young puppy, he requires time, patience, and consistent training, and his future family should be prepared and committed to helping him learn and grow. He can be a little unsure on walks and with new noises, but he is already making progress and just needs patience and encouragement.

He absolutely adores people, including children, and gets very excited to greet them. He thrives on companionship and would do best in a home where someone is around most of the time to continue helping him grow and build confidence. A moderately active home that can provide a mix of play, attention, and rest would suit him perfectly.

Sour straps is a sweet sweet puppy (Although he doesn’t know his name, but who can blame him!) . He is a great mix of playful yet can totally flop down for a scratch and a cuddle. He loves having his tummy scratched. He’s the softest puppy and he’s irresistible when he looks at you with his sweet eyes. Watching him do his first zoomies has been so fun. And he’s so excited to see the kids come down the stairs in the morning (as well as seeing the kids at the bus stop). But beware of leaving your shoes out, he’s a shoe monster! He loves chasing after his ball and chewing on his toys. He’s an amazing puppy who will make a family very happy.
