Meet Rouky! Rouky is a charming little gentleman with a big personality and an even bigger love for cuddles. He came into our care after his previous owner moved into an assisted living facility where dogs were unfortunately not allowed. While the change was a big one, Rouky settled into foster life almost immediately and quickly made himself right at home.

Rouky is happiest when he is close to his people. He loves belly rubs, naps, slow strolls through the neighbourhood, and supervising absolutely everything you do. He prefers calm walks where he can sniff every tree, bush, and blade of grass along the way. He also has the occasional burst of zoomies before he returns to his favorite hobby, lounging comfortably beside his humans.

Rouky has some crystallization in his eyes, which gives him a distinguished old soul look, but it does not bother him and he does not require any treatment for it. Overall, he is in good health and enjoying life at his own pace.

Rouky can be a little opinionated at times. He may grumble when told “no” and likes to voice his thoughts about things, but underneath the sass is an incredibly affectionate and loving companion who simply wants to be part of the family. He thrives with gentle guidance and a calm routine.

Rouky would love a quieter home where he can enjoy cozy evenings, leisurely walks, and plenty of companionship. If you are looking for a funny, affectionate little shadow who will happily keep you company during movie nights and gently tap your foot when he wants attention, Rouky may just be your perfect match.

Rouki is the definition of a lovable little old man. He has a big personality, a stubborn streak, and so much love to give. His favorite things in life are belly rubs, cuddles, being close to his humans, and taking slow walks where he can sniff absolutely everything around him. He will happily roll onto his back for attention and is always ready to give kisses in return. He can be a bit grumpy and vocal at times, especially when he disagrees with something, but it is honestly part of his charm. Beneath that little tough guy attitude is a sensitive, affectionate dog who simply wants to feel safe, loved, and included. Once he trusts you, he settles in very quickly and becomes an incredibly loyal companion. Rouki would be perfect for someone looking for a calmer dog with a funny personality and lots of affection to give. He truly deserves a cozy home where he can enjoy his golden years surrounded by patience, love, and soft blankets
