Nimbus was rescued alongside her brother, Ranger, from an overcrowded Los Angeles shelter with one of the highest euthanasia rates in California. They were both facing euthanasia simply because the shelter was over capacity, but Nimbus deserved the chance to discover what life outside the shelter could be like.

At first, Nimbus was shy and overwhelmed by the world around her, but every single day she has grown more confident, affectionate, and curious. Beneath her gentle nature is a sweet, loving girl who wants nothing more than to feel safe and close to her people. Once she warms up, Nimbus is incredibly soft and affectionate, happily relaxing nearby, joining in with the family, and soaking up quiet companionship.

Nimbus is a very smart young dog who learns quickly and walked beautifully on leash from day one. She gets along well with other dogs, politely greeting them and happily sharing space, and she has even started showing her playful side. She loves cozying up in her favorite spot with blankets she proudly drags over herself and enjoys being close to the people she trusts.

While loud city noises and busy streets can still make her nervous at times, Nimbus has made incredible progress and continues to blossom more every day. She is gentle, loyal, and full of quiet love, and she is going to make an amazing companion for someone willing to give her the patience and kindness she deserves. Watching Nimbus come out of her shell has been beautiful, and now she is finally ready to find the forever home where she can truly shine.
