ABOUT :

Meet Molly! Molly was one of the dogs we brought to Montreal, from Los Angeles, who were facing euthanasia simply due to the incredible over population in the shelter system. At only 1.5 years old, she had so much more life to live, and we couldn’t leave her behind.

Molly is a smart, active girl who loves being involved in whatever her people are doing. She settled into foster care quickly and has been showing off her affectionate personality, curiosity, and sense of fun ever since. Whether she's heading out for a walk, chasing a ball, or simply following her foster family around the house, she wants to be part of the action. Molly is very people-oriented and enjoys being close to her family. She is eager to meet new people, and has been very welcoming of strangers.

Molly is a dog who loves to stay busy. Molly loves walks, playing fetch, and spending time outdoors. When Molly hasn’t had her needs met for the day, she has a harder time settling down and can sometimes start to get creative and find her own ways to be entertained. She may chew on something she finds, or come and try to grab your hand to come and play with her. An active household that enjoys getting outside and including their dog in daily activities would be a great fit for her.

As a young dog who has not had consistency before, Molly still needs some help learning her manners. She can pull on leash because she likes to be out front exploring, and she is very interested in squirrels. Consistent training and continued structure will help her continue to develop into an excellent companion. The good news is that she is eager to engage with her people and enjoys learning.

The ideal family for Molly is one that can provide regular exercise, continued training, and of course lots of love. She has a lot of great qualities already and will thrive with people who are excited to help her reach her full potential.
