Midnight was rescued from certain euthanasia at an overcrowded Los Angeles shelter before she had even been given the chance to truly begin her life. At only a year old, she should have been discovering the world, making friends, and enjoying the carefree days every young dog deserves. Instead, she found herself fighting for a second chance simply because the shelter was over capacity.

Despite everything she has been through, Midnight has remained incredibly sweet, loving, and full of hope. She is a social, friendly girl who gets excited to meet new people and happily jumps up to say hello, eager for attention and affection. While she may sometimes need a moment with some people, with others it’s hugs right away! She gets along well with both people and other dogs and has the kind of warm, happy personality that makes her easy to love.

Right after being rescued, Midnight became sick and spent an entire week at the vet recovering, showing just how resilient and strong she truly is. Now safely in Canada after her long journey from Los Angeles, Midnight is finally healthy, safe, and ready for the fresh start she has always deserved.

She is still so young, with her whole life ahead of her, and she is ready to find a forever family who will give her all the love, stability, and adventures she has missed out on so far. Midnight has already overcome so much, and now it is finally her turn to simply be a happy dog.
