Meet Jeffrey! Jeffrey was surrendered to an overpopulated shelter in LA. Jeffrey was a “kick me” dog at the shelter - he was totally tolerant of other dogs, but they tended to gang up on him. Twice, he stood up for himself, he didn’t fight but he told the other dogs that he was uncomfortable. Because of this, Jeffrey was facing euthanasia. Thankfully, we were able to grab him in time and he has since gained his Canadian citizenship! He is now ready to settle in with a family of his own, for good this time.

Jeffrey is an overall great dog. He is friendly with other dogs, nig and small. He’s friendly with people and likes interacting with them, but he can be a bit timid at first. Afterwards, he leans into pets and is very wiggly and happy! He just needs some time to decompress and start relaxing, now that he has been rescued from the shelter environment.

He is doing better and better with his crate training. His ideal home would be one with a yard, and one where there is not too much action.
