NORTH

WORDS FROM NORTH’S NEW ADOPTERS: After the loss of our beloved dog, Mia, our home just didn’t feel the same. My husband and I knew that one day we would have to fill the hole left by her passing. We really wanted to adopt but given that we have two young children, we were adamant about bringing a puppy into our lives. This seemed quite difficult since most organizations only allow people with older children to adopt. Until we found RAD, through Yossi. We followed their incredible journey to Manitoba where they rescued several puppies and brought them back to Montreal for a better life. North, was one of them. She was found tied to a pole, without water or food, for what appeared to be several days.
When Kim called me for the adoption interview, I immediately felt a special bond form. Her passion for rescuing dogs is undeniable and I admire that so much. A day later, we headed out to meet North, who was being cared for by one of the incredible RAD fosters, Colette. That night we brought North home. She instantly became the 5th member of our family.
North is one of the sweetest dogs!! She loves both humans and other animals. She adores going to the dog park which is great because she has A LOT of energy to burn! She loves to play and feels the need to chew on anything she can get her paws on! She is very smart and really likes learning! North really is happiest when she’s around her family ! We cannot imagine our life without her. We are forever grateful to everyone at RAD! The world needs more people like them!
