ABOUT :

Banana was rescued from a terrible situation of neglect. She was living in home with over 100 other dogs, in disgusting conditions, in the home of a breeder in the USA. She was covered in excrement, with extremely long nails, and despite her young age - horrible teeth.

When Banana first arrived to us, she was shy and unsure of her new surroundings. Having not been exposed to much before her rescue, this was understandable. After some time decompressing with her foster, her sweet personality began to come out. She has proven to be a smart and gentle little dog, who learns quickly, and thrives on positive reinforcement. She is a low-energy pup who enjoys a calm routine. She’s happiest when she’s lounging with her toys or resting nearby her people. A few short walks each day are plenty for her — she’s all about comfort and easy living.

While she enjoys calm interactions, Banana can still be a bit nervous around loud noises or busy environments. She’d do best in a peaceful home with an understanding family who can help her continue building confidence at her own pace. A home in a quiet area, and with a calm energy would be best for her. Someone who is home often would be best, as Banana needs time with her people to feel more comfortable and safe in her environment.

Banana is crate-trained, relaxed when left alone for short periods, and sleeps soundly through the night as long as she knows you’re nearby. She’s still learning leash skills and might hesitate on stairs or in new situations, but her progress has been steady and encouraging.

WORDS FROM HER FOSTER:

Banana and I grew very close! She truly taught me a lot about myself. She’s the sweetest girl I’ve ever met, with such a gentle and loving spirit. I know she’ll bring endless happiness and love to whoever is lucky enough to have her. She’s a true gem, the kind of companion who fills a home with warmth, calm, and joy.
